Trees in danger of falling Reported by Laurens Verkade at 16:45, Wed 4 August 2021 A tree growing on Council land behind our house (11 Autumn Grove - BR1 5AT) recently fell and had to be cut back to avoid damage to our garden wall (see report 2866950). When the contractor was working on this fallen tree I pointed out others in the same location and in a similar situation I.e. leaning over the wall and overhanging our back garden. He agreed that these trees posed a danger - they are close enough that they would damage the house or the conservatory if they fell. One of the trees is completely overgrown with ivy and will likely not survive more than another few years. These trees need to be removed in order to eliminate the threat to our house. Please send a contractor to remove them. Be advised that the land where these trees grow is heavily overgrown with nettles and brambles and access therefore is challenging.
