New mini roundabout work

Reported by Nicholas Hickson at 09:57, Fri 15 October 2021

Alterations to this junction have been long ongoing and now after all that we have a dangerous protruding new pavement on the Library side at the mini roundabout. This is noticeable when driving South from Hayes St into Baston Rd. One has to be vary careful not to collide with this new jutting out pavement edge at this point and could catch out the unwary. It seems to me totally unnecessary and is a permanent hazard to all motorists. In addition is anything going to be done to repair the road surface of the road and the ''hump' forming this roundabout.. All of this is an unforgivable waste of money bearing in mind the number of potholes or 3rd world road surfaces near Biggin Hill onwards to Westerham.
