Sat 1 Jan: New 'weapon' in fight against dumping/fly-tipping rubbish at GSG Recycling Site Reported by Friends of Green Street Green Common at 17:02, Sunday 2 January 2022 We're curious as to who signed off this sticker? We're thankful that Veolia empty bins and clear rubbish dumped/fly-tipped on/around the recycling bins twice a day, but surely it's a poor use of times and resources? These small stickers are the latest example of Bromley Council treating the disease rather than the symptoms whilst disingenuously claiming 'We are the borough of recyclers!'. Please heed Keep Britain Tidy's Centre for Social Innovation report - https://www.keepbritaintidy.org/news/committed-recyclers-are-among-worst-‘contaminators’-new-research-reveals And pledge to support The Great British Spring Clean, 25 March to 10 April 2022.
