The metal fence all around the park. Reported anonymously at 15:15, Thursday 27 January 2022 There has recently been a metal fence put up around the perimeter of the park and car park. This causes great safety issues with getting children and disabled people into the play area. We most often use the car park on site and walk to the park. This forces us to walk along the road as there is no footpath as my mother with walking aids cannot climb over the fence. I have almost been hit by a car along that entry/exit road before as the football coach was driving and looking at his phone at the same time and I had to jump onto the grass. That could of been my young child, who would not of had time to get out the way. I also have to sometimes bring a chair to the park for my mother to sit on and will not be easy to get that over the fence either. There needs to be some of the upright gaps in the fence that stop bikes passing through, but allow people access.
