Blocked feeder drain Reported anonymously at 12:35, Mon 11 April 2022 This drain often becomes blocked because the drains along this part of Hayes Lane, Beckenham (close to Chinese Garage roundabout) are inaccessible during the day because of parked vehicles from the popular local shops, cafés, Kelsey Park, etc. The ‘feeder’ drain becomes totally blocked on a regular basis because my partner and I are the only residents who sweep and clear debris from the gulley (which we pay for in our Council Tax). When this has been successfully dealt with in the past, the Operatives have visited the site during late afternoon the day before and placed ‘No Parking’ cones along the edge of the pavement or in the gullies. And so PLEASE take this into consideration when the work is carried out. Thank you!
