Tree roots lifting garden path Reported anonymously at 17:11, Sun 7 August 2022 Hi. The roots from the tree outside our house appear to be lifting our garden path to the extent that the gate can no longer be shut. The same tree also appears to be lifting the pavement and part of the road. Is there anything that can be done to fix this? We really love the tree and in no way are suggesting it should be removed (as there aren’t enough trees in the street anymore as it is due to everyone having drives). I’m wondering if it’s possible for you to somehow prune the roots (if that’s a thing?) and ideally repair the damage to our property. It’s worth noting that the damage is also very close to the water pipe serving our property, so damage to that pipe is another concern of ours. We are number 43 Chesham Rd Many thanks, kind regards

If you want to report a street problem, return to the homepage and enter your postcode. You can then make a report. We'll send it to your council, and publish it on the site.
If your problem is not a street issue, or is not suitable for publication on the site, then this isn't the right place for it. You should find other contact details on the council’s website.
