Weed treatment - Sorry, but what a joke. Reported anonymously at 20:35, Wed 14 September 2022 This morning I watched with intrigue your weeding contractor ‘treat’ Pickhurst Rise. The motorised weeding cart was first driven at break-neck speed up one side of the road, merrily spraying the tarmac as he went. The weeds on the pavement?… couldn’t be bothered with those. He next came down the other side, hurtling along the pavement spraying the paving stones - have a look at the images and you can see the spray mark on the pavement. I watched as he hurtled off ignoring weeds in the gutter and around trees. It’s no wonder there are weeds everywhere as the spraying I saw this morning was absolutely useless and a complete waste of time. I expect the council is paying LanGuard a pretty penny for this, but from what I saw earlier, they are clearly taking the pee - you may wish to investigate and wish to have a word, but please can a proper reply and suitable explanation be provided.
