A number of potholes have appeared causing problem for cyclists using the London Cycle network route 66 through Heathfield Lane between 'The Cottage' and 'Frogges Manor'.

The potholes are now wheel busting and stone chippings and water being sprayed over footpath and pedestrians by passing vehicles.

Contrary to Section 41 of the Highways Act 1980 given that the highway is in such a condition that it is dangerous to traffic and pedestrians

A spokesperson for the AA "They damage cars but, worse than that, they are murderous for cyclists. We've already had three people across the UK killed because local authorities failed to maintain residential roads properly."

Potholes deteriorating and road chippings and pooled water being shot over pedestrians by passing vehicles. Someone attended a few weeks back and marked and measured the problem areas BUT no-one has come to fix the problem. Very disappointed!
