Please note that the DVLA typically allow a keeper a grace period of a month in which to renew their tax. Please refrain from reporting untaxed vehicles until this grace period has expired as no enforcement action can be taken during it. Bromley has the powers to deal with abandoned or untaxed vehicles only. Vehicles without insurance or a MOT should be directed to the Police as we do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence. It may be that ownership of the van has changed hands as the ved has been surrendered.
