Light from the council lamp post is being blocked in all directions by an out-of-control hedge, which is also blocking the pavement and forcing pedestrians onto the road.
Reported in the Overhanging vegetation from private land category anonymously at 18:40, Wed 13 June 2018
Sent to Bromley Council 5 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1339146.
The hedge used to be cut across in a straight line below lamp-light. The back of the hedge is on the land of 48a Yester Road. The front of the hedge is on the land of 4 and 5 Greatwood. It has grown out of control, especially over the last 2 years, and the walls are cracked as a result of extensive root growth and present a danger to pedestrians if they collapse. Residents are having trouble reversing their cars in the dark. Pedestrians cannot use the pavement by the wall because of overgrown branches and are forced to walk on the road. This is particularly hazardous at night when it is dark and the light from the lamp post is obscured.
