Dog Litter Bins
Reported in the Street cleaning category anonymously at 12:29, Thu 14 June 2018

Please provide/install additional Dog litter bins within the Biggin Hill area, I can only find one within our area. -there is one in Belvedere Road. It would be beneficial if there were additional bins heading towards the fields opposite St Winifreds Rd and along the High Street area.

The provision of dog waste bins throughout the Borough is made predominantly within parks and amenity areas where dogs can be exercised and any excrement can be deposited through the appropriate provision. These bins are emptied regularly, daily during the summer in certain parks, whereas bins on the highway are emptied less frequently ranging from daily in primary shopping areas to fortnightly in residential streets. Although a limited number of dog waste bins do currently exist on the highway which are emptied through one of our leisure contracts if the provision of dog waste bins were made available on the highway throughout the Borough there would be significant additional cost as cleansing schedules would need to be dramatically enhanced.
