Large pot hole 20-30 metres before bridge - coming from direction of orpington
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 17:11, Fri 23 November 2018
Sent to Bromley Council 3 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1468692.
There is a large pothole in the road that I hit on the evening of 15 November 2018 at approx 8pm. It is 20-30 metres before the railway bridge on the right-hand-side, driving from the direction of Orpington to Birchwood/Dartford. The hole is approx 300mm wide, 1 metre long and between 5 to 7 inches deep. The pothole bent my wheel and damaged my tyre. I did report the pothole on this website earlier this week but for some reason it did not upload. I will be putting in a compensation claim for the cost of repairs accordingly. Photos will be submitted then. I passed by the pothole again yesterday (22 November 2018) at approx 3pm and it is still there, no doubt getting bigger by the day.

Thanks for the update.
It has however only been partially filled in. There is a section that hasn't been repaired, which is very strange as while the contractor's were there why didn't they fill in/repair all of it?
The rain/weather is only going to make the defective section bigger, which will undermine the repair, which will mean the contractor's will need to return etc, etc. Madness.
Regards.

We ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our contractor. Please log the issue via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk as a new report using the map marker and description to detail where the issue is located. NOTHING done as usual... So many potholes along this road it's becoming DANGEROUS to road users....Not to mention the continuing water leaks causing ICE when the temperature drops further adding to MORE potholes appearing as the road surface deteriorates. WAKE UP BROMLEY COUNCIL GET THEM FIXED !
