Pole indicated in image - yellow padlock laying on ground next to pole, please re-attach ASAP.

So, someone has put the lock back into position but hasn’t closed the lock... any reason why? Can the lock be properly closed before the pole ends up being removed to let lorries through and left laying on the pavement again.

This is a temporary measure to hold the post. The pad lock will be renewed at the time further works will take place to secure the post. Our contractor has been instructed for this repair.

Tag-Dah! As expected, the pole has been removed and is laying on floor. How long until you can pop gown B&Q to buy a new lock please?

We are sorry that this work has not been completed. We are working with our Minor Works contractor in an effort to resolve this issue.

Now been open and unresolved for 35 days - have re-reported in the hope that someone listens. Not good enough.

Apologies for the delay in resolving this issue. We have an ongoing problem regarding unauthorised removal of the special padlocks and intentional damage to the bollards and other fixings. We are working with our contractor to identify a long-term solution, and will continue to inspect the barriers every week and complete temporary repairs.

We can confirm that this work is now completed and are aware of the additional work required. We are waiting for the delivery of materials, and once they are available, we endeavour to complete the remaining work to the width restrictor. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to you.

We have an ongoing problem with the unauthorised removal of the padlocks and intentional damage to the bollards and other fixings at this location. In addition to weekly inspections and repairs, we're also looking at enforcement action that could be taken. Please continue to bear with us as we seek to resolve this issue.
