Damage to my property following council tree pruning
Reported in the Public Trees category anonymously at 09:11, Wed 2 January 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1500209.
A tree outside my neighbours house was recently pruned. The surgeons had asked me prior to work if they could move my outside storage boxes, to which I agreed. They then failed to move them and then cut the tree, a branch from which fell on my storage bin, damaging it, it is no longer water tight. The surgeon apologised to me and explained his manager would be in contact with me but nothing has happened. I had also agreed with him that he would tape up the damaged area, which he agreed to, but he also drove off without attempting any repairs that we had agreed. I only purchased the storage 4 months ago at a cost of £100 so I'm not best pleased this has been damaged or that the surgeon was too lazy to simply move the bin. Furthermore, I never asked for this tree to be cut and the council gave me no notice this was happening. If you had given me notice, I would have moved them myself. All in all I'm not very happy that I now have a damaged bin and nobody is taking responsibility for it.

This is still outstanding. I was asked to provide pictures which I have done, but nothing since. With all the heavy rain recently its been less than ideal.
