All paving slabs broken by Heavy Lorries
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 14:08, Mon 14 January 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1512716.
I have no photograph. I am 73 and fell heavily when I caught my foot in the broken paving slabs. This a cross-over user by lorries delivering to the school building site in Avalon Road. This has been like it for months. The builders should cover the slabs with sheets of metal. I respectfully ask that someone look at this issue.

The paving slabs are still badly Cracked and uneven and there has been a lot of mud on the pavement and Road caused by lorries leaving the site. On the injury side I think I chipped the elbow bone in the fall I had.

No doubt they are not bothering to replace the broken slabs until the building work is completed. They should at least plate the pavement until that time. There has also been a lot of mud on the road outside this site caused by lorries leaving the site . As a considerate builder these things should not happen and mud on the road I believe is an offence.
