Builders rubble and excavation on public space
Reported in the Enforcement category anonymously at 11:27, Fri 18 January 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1516674.
Builders at no 1 Canterbury Close are excavating material and dumping spoil on a public green.
There is also an open unfenced excavation adjacent to the green. Permission has NOT been issued by Bromley Highways for any of this.
Perhaps a STOP WORKS injunction should now be issued as this was reported three days ago too.

Day 8 of this build which Bromley Council rejected Condition 7 (Construction Management Plan).
These piles of earth and rubble keep growing every day. How can they be allowed to dump this on a public green? Yet again, tonight is another clear example that there are no safety barriers or hazard lighting to stop the general public tripping over it or falling in the trench at the side of the mounds of debris.

A street Enforcement officer has been on site and spoken to those concerned. Action will be taken to remove the spoil and re instate the grass area. Any costs incurred by the council will be recharged to the property owner

The perpetrator of fly tipping may have cleared the site but leftva green public open space in a muddy mess.
This would be "sorted" if the council forced reinstatement - turfs or similar.

Since this metal fencing was placed (January 2019) the lower section has not been securely attached to the other panels. As you can see, it is only propped up against a fence. It leaves the building site insecure and could very easily fall and injure the public.

Site still not proprly secured, public space churned up and badly damaged. Now is the season for grass repairs and nothing being done.

White Vauxhall has been parking daily outside 1 Canterbury Close since last week on the blind corner. It is restricting access for residents, refuse vehicles, mobility taxi vehicles and emergency services vehicles to enter and leave the Close safely. Last week refuse vehicle struggled to get past as there was a delivery van wanting to leave the Close at the same time. This car has been reported before but no action was taken.
