Hi,
Re 1555079. It has been 9 days since my report was lodged. The street light has still not be fixed. It is extremely dark as a result as night and presents a risk of safety to the public. Please can this be treated as urgent.
Kind regards,
Keith

Four weeks after problem first reported is not an acceptable response to what is a dangerous problem in a very dark area on a busy stretch of road!! Please expedite or provide temporary solution

The issue with the street lighting Central Management System has largely been resolved, with most of our 13,500 LED street lights now working as normal. Unfortunately, with Harvard Engineering going in to administration, we don’t currently have a supplier to provide the components that may be required to repair faulty LED lanterns. We’ve been in discussion with the new CMS company, they are manufacturing the necessary components and as soon as stock becomes available, it will be installed as quickly as possible, before the end of April. Thank you for your patience.

We have identified suppliers for the replacement street lighting equipment to complete repairs. We are expecting to complete the necessary works by the end of May
Thank you for your patience.

Hello,
I am sorry but this is simply not good enough! This light has been defective since February! The worst case scenario for BROMLEY is to locate a replacement unit on a light on the Borough (in a Depot for example) that is not required at night. I wish to raise a formal complaint, so please advise of the complaint process. Further, I intend to raise this failing with the local Bromley press. The continued darkness in Mosslea Road increases the risk to pedestrians as well as the fear of potential crime.
