  • We are sorry that this work has not yet been completed. We are working with our Minor Works contractor in an effort to resolve this issue.

  • This has been unresolved for over two months, may I enquire what the problem is in getting this repaired. May I also ask what your SLA is with your minor works contractor to get this type of repair completed.

  • We apologise for the delay and have chased up our contractor to programme the work as soon as possible. We will keep you updated on the issue.

  • Now nearly three months since reported, what on earth is the hold up? This isn’t good is it? Please advise.

Posted anonymously at 20:47, Wed 12 June 2019

  • We have chased up our contractor and are waiting to hear back with a commencement date. We apologise for the inconvenience.

Posted anonymously at 16:00, Wed 19 June 2019

  • Hello. How are we doing with that commencement date? This makes a mockery of your timescale of 35 days to complete this type of work - we’re now 105 days since reported. Complaint to Nigel Davies is next unless this gets resolved quickly. Thanks.

  • We are happy to advise you that we have been given a date from our Minor Works contractor to commence work on 25th July 2019. We apologise for the inconvenience caused in the delay.

Posted anonymously at 15:37, Thu 18 July 2019

  • It is most unfortunate that the work remains incomplete because of its complexity in avoiding traffic disruptions. Further consultations are due to take place this week with our contractor with a firm commitment to complete the repairs.

  • It is not acceptable that you cite the reason for not getting this completed as "complexity in avoiding traffic disruptions" - It is School holidays, there are all manner of extremely disruptive roadworks that are/have been, going on across the Borough. In case it had not occurred to you, this pothole sits on the roundabout exit-line most vehicles with 2-wheel users are at particular risk having to run-over or run wide to avoid it. Stop making excuses and just get it done before this pothole causes a serious accident and the finger of blame is rightly pointed at LBB who have let this risk exist since mid-March

  • In complete agreement with the previous post - this is an absolute joke. Complaint filed.

  • Good morning, please accept our apologies over the delay. A road closure has been agreed we are now waiting for confirmation of bus stop closure.

    Thank you for your patients.
