At Jnc with Magpie Hall Lane. As outlined in photos, grass and undergrowth strip running alongside pavement is full of litter, it looks incredibly tatty and needs thorough litterpick.

  • The area in question is private property and our street cleansing operatives are instructed to litter pick the footpath and within arms reach especially behind the bus stop on the entrance to Oakley Road. LB 23/04/2019

  • Hi LB. The areas outlined (see photos) do not have footpaths, they are all grass, undergrowth, greenery etc. Are you saying that these areas, right up to the kerb, the full length of this stretch (from the junctions of Oakley Rd to Rookery Rd, are not maintained by LBB? If they’re not, please could you advise who the landowner is. Thanks.

  • The area in question from Oakley Road to Fishers Wood Grove (Oakley House entrance) is private property and owned by Rookery Estates. LBB, Veolia Street Cleansing and McDonalds all took part in a community clean up organised by McDonalds on Wednesday 08th May 2019 and litter picked in this road and surrounding roads where it was safe to do so on public footpaths.
