Roundabout closure
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 17:13, Wed 10 April 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1599960.
Heathfield Rd is closed as work is being done to this relatively new roundabout. Its introduction certainly solved the traffic jams here but was so badly designed. It's too large comprising mainly a circle of cemented Ib blocks. Most traffic including myself, at times, drive over these but certainly all buses and lorries do. In addition, there are stupid obstructive jutting out areas making navigation as difficult as possible. I can't get near enough to it at the moment to see what the work is ie whether blocks have come adrift with wear or whether designers have come to their senses and are getting rid of some of the paved lock area. This is a complete farce.
