Trees from end of gardens in the covert blocking alleyway and hanging into greenwood close gardens
Reported in the Public Trees category anonymously at 13:16, Wed 5 June 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1649769.
There are trees at the end of the gardens from a few of the covert houses that are now hugely overhanging the alleyway and leaning over into several gardens on greenwood close . They are blocking lots of light and look as though they may be a threat to the greenwood close houses in case of a storm . They are hanging over the alleyway between greenwood close and the covert , directly behind number 19 and 21 greenwood close. This issue has been present for a few years but seems to be getting dramatically worse. Large branches often break off and fall in the the greenwood close gardens . We are mainly concerned from a safety aspect. The alleyway path is also blocked by these trees. Many thanks

My apologies for the length of time it has taken to get back to you, there is a tree preservation order on the trees in the back gardens of 30 to 48 The Covert, Orpington. I had your husband's contact details from a previous Confirm enquiry 4199917 and I spoke to him today and explained the above. To take this further you will need to fill out an application for tree works form from our website to have these trees looked at to see what can be done. Many thanks for your patience during this time and we look forward to hearing from you. Kind regards, JPR - 02/12/2019
