Trip hazard in pavement
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 10:39, Wed 16 October 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 1807241.
Following the recent repairs to the pavement on Links Way, there is now an approximately 15cm gap, the width of the pavement, in the paving slabs outside No 13 Links Way. This Gap is filled with soft sand which gives a falls sense of security to anybody walking along the footpath and will not prevent a person from catching their foot between the slabs, falling over, sustaining injury and suing the council.

The gap in the paving slabs has been fixed by removing slabs to the crossover of No 13 and replacing them with tarmac, filling in the gap. This action negates the replacement of paving slabs in that area.
