The Gully drain is not fixed and blocked solid with mud
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 09:16, Sun 3 November 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1829409.
The Gully drain between the foot path and my driveway is not fixed and blocked solid with mud along the entire length. The gully needs to be cleared along the length and the drain covers fitted back or replaced/repaired where required. The overflowing water has caused damage (potholes) to my driveway, although the weather has been extreme, so I would really appreciate making sure the council owned drain gully is properly cleared and fixed. Thanks in advance

After being unblocked by The Council the gully drain has broken up and collapsed in, see photos. It is currently a trip hazard. The existing drain covers are a mix of plastic and metal. The gully needs to be cleared from obstructions and a replacement metal gully drain is required to prevent trip or fall

The contractor has replaced half of the gully drain covers thank you. However the remaining plastic gully has Collapsed. Can I suggest this is replaced with a heavy duty metal gully cover to cope with the commercial traffic passing over the drain

The drain takes commercial traffic and using bits and bobs to repair it doesn’t work. Within 3 days it’s collapsed again. The botched repairs are not sufficient for purpose. A proper repair with full length heavy duty metal drain covers along the full length of the drain gully are required. It has been botched 3 times now. I’m concerned how much the contractor is charging the council for the previous botch jobs. Can they be refunded to LBB and the job done properly please?

This drain has not been repaired see photo taken today. It remains a trip/fall hazard. As per my last update 5 August 2020 some 8 months ago the drain is NOT fixed.
