Lack of 'no parking' signage and yellow line road markings.
Reported in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 10:47, Tue 10 December 2019
Sent to Bromley Council 1 hour later. FixMyStreet ref: 1881955.
I have been in constant contact with Bromley council since June 2019 as people would park in front of dropped kerb gates every other day.
This has caused myself and neighbor being locked in our houses on many occassions and also not being able to drive into our gates when arriving home.
As a result, Bromley council redone the white line in front of the gates and also said the road would be enforceable. Such actions have not deterred anyone from parking in the middle of the road or in front of the driveway gates. It is almost a daily occurrence that my neighbor and I are unable to leave or return to our house with our cars.
There really needs to be a yellow line and signage to stop people parking in front of the gates or in the middle of the dead end road. Or a road marking box that clearly states 'no parking'.
