Commuter parking
Reported via iOS in the Road and Pavement Issues category anonymously at 09:17, Fri 7 February 2020
Sent to Bromley Council 4 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 1983957.
Will the council please consider making Venner / Wiverton and Byne Roads and Newlands Park and Alexandra Road into controlled parking zones.
Say from 8-11 each weekday morning.
We are getting lots of commuters who use penge east driving in from outer zones to scab on train fares and bringing unneeded traffic / parking and pollution issues to these residential streets
There is a car park at penge east which could be more fully used for those who have a genuine need to drive to penge east station

This report has been referred to our Traffic Management Team who are responsible for the way traffic is managed on Bromley's roads; including, but not limited to, implementing new road markings and signage in relation to road safety and parking; walking and cycling improvements, including identifying locations for new cycle racks and installing Vehicle Activated speed signs - however, please note that responsibility for enforcing speed limits rests with the Police.
Where requests are made for changes, our Traffic Management Team will consider all requests but often there is a need for a full investigation, planning and consultation within the local area particularly around proposed new traffic schemes, and any considerations must be balanced with borough-wide priorities. This report is now closed on FixMyStreet and our Traffic Management Team will consider this matter.State changed to: Internal referral
