Flimsy lock for gate at the end of Burwood Ave

The land at the end of Burwood Ave has been cleared of shrubs. Bushes and a large mound of earth. This was originally to stop stolen cars going on the land unwanted Vehicles accessing and camping. Now this has been made vulnerable because there is only a flimsy lock keeping the gate secure. We are hoping that this is not going to be made accessible for cars or horseboxes in the near future. This can be a problem with parking traffic flow and will get worse with the 20mph spped limit if imposed and the school Street in George Lane which will impact on Hayes Wood Ave and Burwood Ave. The land is marshland and extremely flooded at present and is unsuitable for any vehicle access.
