Overhanging vegetation

Reported in the Public Trees category anonymously at 14:04, Saturday 23 May 2020

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Overhanging vegetation in Highfield Road, from private house on corner of Claremont Road and Highfield Road, restricting the width of pathway on Highfield Road. I first reported this in January 2020. The council advised they had written to the owner, but nothing has been done about the problem. I then reported this again last month, and was advised this is not a priority, due to the current COVID-19 issue. As we are now being advised to keep 2 metres distance from one-another, as part of social distancing measures, I would have thought a compromised public pathway would be more of a priority. See photo for detail. There's no way in which pedestrians can possibly keep 2 metres apart along this stretch of pathway. The property has been in a poor state of maintenance for quite some time. I just don't see what the issue is with getting this resolved.
