New bin and placement issues
Reported in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 18:56, Mon 17 August 2020
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2250361.
The bin has been changed and moved from the alley entrance on one side of the road to the other side of the road alley way entrance. This is not a problem in itself but the new bin is not Fox proof and we are having to regularly tide our gardens and the payment that leads to the nearby school after the bin contents has been emptied and shredded during the night . This never happened before the bin was moved / design of the waste bin changed

To help reduce litter in gardens the litter bin will be moved back to its original position. Unfortunately it is not just foxes to blame for litter being discarded over fences and into vegetation.
An extra litter bin has now been installed on the other side of the railway track on Pickhurst Rise. This should allow for the increasing use of the Public Right's of Way in the vicinity of Hawes Lane.
