Tree has grown to alarming proportions and could be a hazard to property if blown over in high winds

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
The tree is adjacent to the 314 Bus StopˋChilham Way´on Mounthurst Road. The tree has grown alarmingly and given the high winds we are experiencing I feel that it now poses a significant hazard to property and traffic. Please could it be either removed or pruned. I am aware of the enormous value of trees generally and to the local environment.
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

The cosmetic pruning at the base of the tree does not address the original problem. The tree is too tall and could come down in high winds presenting a hazard to traffic and property.

The tree has been inspected and works have been raised to address an identified health & safety or highway obstruction issue. Please note that works beyond that to reduce the tree size or to light, telephone lines etc will not be taken as outlined in our Tree Management Strategy (https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ downloads/ file/ 3334/ tree_management_strategy_2016-2020)
