The tree prunus outside No 70 Aylesford Avenue is suffering from disease. Some branches have already fallen and there is seeping from one of the lower branches close the Main stem. Is there anything that can be done before the tree is lost.

Disease to tree. Also damage to the base of the trunk. Wonder if anything can be done before it is lost?
