Dead tree stump in pavement pit sprouting all over the pavement and road.

A tree growing in a pavement pit fell down a while back, the stump has been spouting and weeds growing across the pavement and kerb.

  • To help us action and resolve this issue please could further information be provided as comments to this report. For example information such as a house number or street light column number can greatly help us to correctly identify the location while further details such as the nature and scale of an issue (especially dumped rubbish) assists us co-ordinating an appropriate response.

  • Thank you for arranging for a contractor to attend the site and they have indeed ground out the old tree stump. But as you can see from these two photos that is all they did leaving the rubbish in a mound in the pit which has now been spread all over the road and pavement by foxes. It wouldn’t have taken long to clear the waste, remove the weeds and leave the pavement and road clear.

  • The kerbstone is no longer there and needs replacing, and the dirt in the road remains quite extensive.
