The “cobble stone” crossing point for wheel chairs sets at the junction of The Grove and The High Street has a number of the cobble stones removed and one sticking up in the air about 9 inches. Gap is about 4 feet square and presents a danger to pedestrians and cars. Needs to be looked at urgently. Seen at 10pm on 27th November.

We have investigated this report and found it to be the responsibility of Transport for London (TfL) who are responsible for maintaining and adjusting traffic signals. We have therefore referred the report to TfL. Future reports can be made directly to TfL via: https://tfl.gov.uk/ help-and-contact/ contact-us-about-streets-and-other-road-issues
State changed to: third party responsibility

Ref your reply to item 2408101. You have said that TFL are responsible for traffic signals. This is NOT a traffic signal problem - it is a road default issue. Please read the original report closely and you will see that that is the case. In the meantime it is potentially dangerous to elderly or blind people. More bricks have now been removed and are at the side of the road.

The above update referring to traffic lights was incorrectly posted, however the location falls under the responsibility of TfL as part of the Red Route network. The site has since been attended by TfL.
