Trees in St George's churchyard still not pruned back
Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 19:01, Tue 4 May 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2706815.
This problem has been reported several times recently. The trees on the boundary of the churchyard and the Hiogh Street have many dead branches and they keep falling onto the path from the High Street through the churchyard. Despite requests nothing appears to have been done and the marker on the map has disappeared.

I do not see any change. The dead branches are still there. Since there is copious quantities of cow parsley growing under the trees in that area I would expect to see some trampling of these plants if any work had been undertaken. There is no evidence of activity since the cow parsley, although now dying off, shows no sign of any disturbance. This problem has been reported so many times now. Please can someone check what is claimed to have been done.

Still nothing done - why not? Please do not tell me that the contractor has been notified. This has been going on since the beginning of May.

As per the report from St George's Road. This picture taken from Twitter. (Taken by @markcoyle65) I'm really concerned to see this. I walk on the Hight Street pavement past these tree's frequently and on the pavement past the church on St Georges Road.. Please heed these messages before someone is injured.

We ask that new and separate occurrences of issues are logged as new reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our teams and contractors. Please log the issue via https://fix.bromley.gov.uk as a new report using the map marker and description to detail where the issue is located. Please note that if the location you wish to mark is already occupied by a pin, you can hide the map pins via the button in the bottom left or you can click a nearby free section of the map to drop your green reporting pin so that all other yellow pins indicating existing reports disappear, you can then click and drag your green pin to the correct location and continue submitting your report.

The update recently posted was not a different report - it relates to the state of the trees in St George's churchyard in general of which the lime tyrees are just some. Looking at the lime trees from any angle bordering the High Street opposite Em's kitchen, you can see a number of dead branches in these tall trees. These dead branches are of a subsrtantial size and look as if they are ready to fall. Please can you send someone to inspect these trees and be more specific about any action that may be contemplated.

Once again I have to ask: what is the appropriate action and when will I see that something has actually been done?
Dates for action etc go back to 04.05.21 and continue through 07.05.21; 16.06.21;23.06.21; 13.08.21. bit nothing appears to happen.

A full inspection of the trees in this area is due to take place within the next few days and any necessary pruning works will be scheduled as a result of that inspection.

Several trees in the area are due to be pruned in order to remove dead branches from the crowns of the trees. This work is expected to be completed by 11/10/2021.

Has the work been done? I pass this area everyday. I do not see any change. Dead branches are still hanging over the pavement and the churchyard area.

These works have been added to our priority list to be completed asap. Please note the number of emergency callouts raised as result of damage caused by recent storms (Eunice & Franklin) may delay completion. Thank you for your patience while we work to resolve this issue

The marker is still not on the "report it" map and, while delays due to the recent damage caused by the high winds is understandable, this report started 10 months ago.
