Hi, There are two rain drains outside my driveway at 66 Kynaston Road, BR5 4JZ. Unfortunately they are either blocked or unable to cope with the heavy rainfall we experienced on Tuesday 20th July. My driveway slopes down towards my property and what happened is the entire contents which was like a mini river ran down the side of my property and flooded my garden by 1.5 foot. I am a professional gardener and three of my sheds which hold my lawnmowers etc were flooded, both my two log cabins at the end of the garden were also flooded. Also my porch started to fill with water, it was only luck it stopped raining otherwise it would have flooded the house. I have lived at this property for three years, and have noticed before the water which comes down the drive when the drains cannot cope, but yesterday the weather pushed it over the limit. Can someone visit my property to investigate the drains, as there seems to be not enough drains in the road. Also another issue which does not help, is the guys who strim the verges end up blowing all the grass cuttings everywhere which must end up down the drains. I have never seen the drains cleaned since I have lived at the property. I will wait for your repsonse. John Curry
