Careless use of herbicide by contractor
Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement & PROW Issues category by Ian Jerome at 22:05, Wednesday 21 July 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
It appears that herbicide is being sprayed on the pavement and kerb edges to control weeds (photo no 1) . There are several strips across the grass verge in Aldersmead Road where the grass is also dead (see remaining photos). It seems clear that the spray being used to deal with the edges was not turned off as the operator moves across the verges between kerbside and pavement edge. This shows a careless approach to using potentially dangerous chemicals. There are similar strips in near by Kings Hall Road.
