Badly damaged road outside our house

Reported via iOS in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 21:39, Saturday 7 August 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

We see that there is intention at some point to repair Belvedere Rd’s potholes at long last - however there are no painted lines around this part of the road right outside our house. It’s actually disgraceful and very dangerous as I have already almost twisted my ankle stepping off the kerb. Please include this in the repairs to prevent injury and damage to our car’s tyres.

Belvedere Rd seems to be forgotten and the poor relation compared to the newly tarmaced St Winifreds Rd

  • How on earth is this private property or an unadopted road! Belvedere Road is not a private road nor is this area needing repair our private property!! Therefore maintenance of this part of the road is the responsibility of Bromley Council. Please reopen this report and reinvestigate ASAP as the appalling state of the road at this point needs to be repaired along with the rest of the road that has been marked up with white paint for eventual repair.

  • What appropriate action has been taken please? The dangerously uneven area in the road by the kerbside right outside our house has been marked up with white paint but no one has been near nor by to fix it. I would be grateful if this could be actioned ASAP so I don't twist my ankle again. Thank you
