Worsley Bridge Road rubbish AGAIN!
Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing category by Mary-Jo Enyori at 21:47, Mon 6 September 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2983937.
I’m getting very frustrated at reporting this massive litter problem on Worsley Bridge Road. I had to walk my daughter to and from school through this rubbish dump again - it’s getting out of hand! Bromley Council - either spend some money on cameras to catch the culprits or get someone out daily to clean up our street and put our council tax money that we work hard for to good use. I will be forced to get the media involved to highlight this recurring issue, it reflects soo poorly on Bromley council - it’s a lovely area to live in sadly spoilt by disgusting, constant litter. Sort it out please!

This is an ongoing, daily problem on this stretch of road that is not ‘fixed’ and is making live in this area unpleasant. What is Bromley Council’s long term plan for this recurring issue?

Thank you for your enquiry. Our Contractors working hard to keep our streets clean and the performance of our contractor is also monitored to ensure that standards are achieved, and omissions of work are corrected. However, there are those anti-social individuals who continuously litter and flytip in this area.
Those residents who wish to tackle the issue may assist us in both reporting the perpetrators of littering and fly-tipping where witnessed on our confidential enviro-crime form (https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ envirocrimereportform) or by becoming a Street Friend where you can become active in assisting with community cleans (https://www.bromley.gov.uk/ info/ 200089/ street_care_and_cleaning/ 247/ street_friends).
