Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 13:58, Wed 22 September 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
1. ROAD MARKINGS /'give way' sign junction Mount Pleasant/Polesteeple (opposite Sutherland Avenue) faded and needs re-doing. 2. OVERHANGING FOLIAGE in Polesteeple leading to Stock Hill (previously done by you) needs revisiting also with overhanging bushes on opposite side of same stretch of road obscuring vision as you turn into Polesteeple from Stock Hill - busy stretch of road with also pedestrian footfall/schoolchildren on stretch of road with two lanes reducing to one. These issues have been outstanding for some time not helped by two new houses built on relevant road corner Mount Pleasant/Polesteeple.
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

Please always report each issue separately as they go to different departments. Works were raised to repaint the road markings. Several shrubs were cut back from the highway. Cut back from a different road section will take time as it needs to be added to the contract.

Having spoken to an officer this morning and clarified exact site I assume this matter is not closed and work to rectify both issues will be completed in the near future - thank you

As noted above the issue with highway markings has been raised separately by our Highways Team. Some vegetation cut back has been undertaken but other sections will need to be added into a contract schedule prior to attendance.
Please log separate issues and locations as separate reports to avoid conflicting information or updates and ensure the information is passed promptly to our teams and contractors.
State changed to: No further action
