Very wobbly manhole covers

Reported via desktop in the Road, Pavement and PROW Issues category anonymously at 23:05, Mon 27 September 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

On the corner of Charterhouse Road and Cheltenham Road are a double set of manhole covers, for telephone services I believe. These are now very wobbly particularly the one nearest the road. There is a risk they will collapse into the hole altogether creating an ever greater hazard. There is some overgrowing foliage from the nearest the garden that is distraction from the danger too.

  • The Starr of the double man hole cover continues to deteriorate. There is a real risk that someone heavy could step on it and go down 3 meters. Please take a look or at least fence it off.
