Can you please confirm which registration you are using since E15 HAO (as per photos) is NOT recognised by the DVLA database accessible via GOV.uk.
Alternatively which database are you using?
Please advise.....

E15 HAO: a vehicle registration plate “on retention” and not assigned to a particular vehicle?
Please advise....
Also please advise expiry date of current MoT.
The vehicle has rusty brake discs, is covered with debris, hasn’t moved in months and road space in Lubbock Road is at a premium....
Please advise.....

The vehicle is taxed well into next year and is not considered abandoned. Insurance or MOT issues should be directed to the Police as we do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence. Please note the Police are unlikely to take action unless the vehicle is being actively driven without an MOT. No further action will be taken in regard to this vehicle at this time.

Noted, thank you. When does the current VED expire?
Also can you (or your DVLA (who are completely impossible to contact via email....) Officer contact) please explain:
“...their full database which contains information not available to the public....”
When I checked E15HAO, after it appeared to me from its condition to have been ‘abandoned’, earlier this year on the DVLA database it was recognised and was taxed and MoT’d, so I do not understand why it is now no longer recognised on the publicly available database on www.gov.uk, hence my suspicion that the plate is now on ‘retention’.
As I previously stated road space is at a premium on Lubbock Road with frequent kerb mounting of the narrow footpaths endangering pedestrians.

The vehicle is taxed until May 2022 and MOT'ed to January 2022. Bromley use Experian and DVLA online web enabled enquiry system in line with our devolved powers agreement. Information gleaned from these sites are governed by GDPR and generally are not available / shared with the general public. The vehicle's keeper also lives locally and the vehicle is not considered abandoned and no further action will be taken. This report is now closed.
