  • To ensure that the correct vehicle is investigated and allow us to undertake the appropriate checks please provide details of the vehicle's registration and make. Members of the public can check a vehicle’s tax status themselves at check-vehicle-tax Please note that the DVLA typically allow a keeper a grace period of a month in which to renew their tax. Please refrain from reporting untaxed vehicles until this grace period has expired as no enforcement action can be taken during it. Bromley has the powers to deal with abandoned or untaxed vehicles only. Vehicles without insurance or a MOT should be directed to the Police as we do not have the statutory powers to deal with this type of offence.

  • It is of no concern whether or not this vehicle is taxed/MOT'd, the COMPLAINT was that the vehicle has been abandoned in this street - unless you can prove that the owner lives in this road.

  • The vehicle is currently taxed well into next year which is an indicator of an interested party and the vehicle is not considered abandoned. The vehicle is taxed and parked legally and no further action will be taken at this time.

  • Morons please note that being taxed does not prevent a vehicle from being abandoned. Location of vehicle has been notified to others in order for parts stripping to commence
