Tree is too big for the road and keeps growing over both drives. We keep trimming back but it is not right tree

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

A replacement tree was planted outside our house 50 Birchwood Avenue BR3 3PZ as our old neighbour knocked down the original one. However the replacement tree is not a silver birch tree like the rest of the trees down the road. I believe it’s a birch tree but it’s extremely fast growing and has become massive within a few years. It needs constant trimming back and I am concerned about the roots and the damage they could be ultimately doing to our property. This tree is an aggressive grower and needs to be removed and a silver birch put in its place. The debris from this tree causes real problems and we feel will cause the road gutter drains to block which can then lead to flooding.
