Signage not clear enough to stop HGVs accessing road
Reported via mobile in the Street Lighting and Road Signs category anonymously at 20:10, Fri 15 October 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3065217.
The signage that Barnet Wood Road is not suitable for larger vehicles is either hidden behind vegetation or else not prominent enough on the feeder roads. Barnet Wood Road is frequently at a standstill because larger vehicles such as vans and lorries use it as a cur-through, despite the fact that various points along it are barely wide enough for 2 normal sized cars to pass each other. I have seen various vehicles damaged as they try to squeeze past each other whilst also avoiding all the potholes and protruding tree trunks.
