Flooding on station road

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 11:35, Sun 31 October 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Station road was flooded on the 20th July and the 20th October. Our houses have been affected. Thames water says it’s due to the heavy rain and the drains can’t take it therefore they over flow and flood. I am yet to get an answer on what is being done. There has been mention of them checking the sewers/drains with cctv to ensure there are no defects. Do you have an update on this or know what can be done as yet it is raining heavily again today and there is a high risk that our homes may flood again. Some residents have lived here for 15+ years and have only just experienced this now. So surely it is not just heavy rain that causes the problem because it has rained heavily over the last 15 years. I’ve attached pictures of the previous floods. Something needs to be done about this.
