No clearance or street cleaning of the pavements has taken place in months along Kings Hall Road

Reported via desktop in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 22:23, Wed 3 November 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Between Lennard Road and the roundabout at the junction of Kings Hall Road and Bridge Road there are a number of huge Plane trees which are not included in the borough’s tree maintenance schedule. The trees continue to get bigger each year which in turn means more leaves! It cannot therefore be a surprise that there is a greater need than ever to clear the leaves from the pavements at this time of year. The plane tree roots are pulling up the pavements and when these large roots are hidden under the mountains of leaves it is highly dangerous and presents a trip hazard. Please ensure that this street is on the leaf clearance schedule several times in the autumn EVERY year. In the meantime it is now a matter of urgency that these leaves are cleared as soon as possible.

  • This is not correct… the matter has NOT been resolved and leaves are still all over the pavements. We have had to fill our own garden waste bins to clear a small patch outside our own properties for safety. I would like a representative from the council to investigate why the status says that his issue is resolved and let me know please!
