Public Trees Removed
Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 10:42, Mon 8 November 2021
Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3110562.
Two trees were removed from this location over one year ago - it was promised that the trees would be replaced- unsightly tar mac remain in their place -
This is the entrance to a Conservation Road - and it is vitally important that we protect this status - Broad Oaks is well known for its tree lined road and this should be upheld-
Thank you

As you have requested the area in question is the Entrance to Broad Oaks Way - just past No 2 Broad Oaks Way and along by the side of the house that fronts Westmoreland Road - you will obviously see the new tarmac that I mentioned in this report - The tree department must have a record of the trees they removed - in the current Climate we are expected to plant trees not remove them - the tree department did say they would be replaced a year ago - thank you

I have just received an email stating that replacing these trees would be considered in the next "Planting Season" I was told this over a year ago - how many "Planting Seasons do we have to go through to have these trees replaced? - Broad Oaks is a Tree Lined road - and it is important that they are replaced - to enhance this Conservation Status - thank you
