Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later
Drain opposite gate to Widdershins, Single St collapsed. It was reported by a neighbour and some tarmac was placed around the drain. A barrier and 3 cones were left at the site as the drain grid is still in a dangerous state, having collapsed into the drain. The cast iron drain cover needs to be fixed as the bus, vans, and larger vehicles are making damage worse.
Thank you for your report, this is now being investigated. Information on our services and the timeframes we aim to respond in can be found: http://www.bromley.gov.uk/ fixservices

Problem with collapsed drain not yet fixed. It has bollards around it from when some tarmac was replaced but the problem is with the cast iron drain which has collapsed. It is sighted on a dangerous bend. If traffic from the Jail lane end avoid the drain they are across the centre of the road, into oncoming traffic. If there is oncoming traffic, vehicles drop into the drain and make the problem worse, possibly damaging the vahicle
