Fly tipping tree pruning rubbish

Reported via desktop in the Public Trees category anonymously at 16:10, Thu 11 November 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

Today behind my rear garden fence on footpath 192 a tree was being pruned on the cemetery side. I caught the workman dumping the cut tree behind my fence and told them not to leave it there, later I met the workman clearing rubbish along the cemetery railings and they informed me it was the council tree surgeons that cut the trees down along the footpath in the summer who then fly tipped the rubbish behind my fence which damaged the fence. I have moved the rubbish away from the fence but would like you to ask the council workman to come back and remove the rubbish they left. I have managed to push my fence back upright and repaired it myself.

  • Thanks for your reply to the fly tipping problem. I must point out that the area where the workman dumped the tree cuttings is private land. Our rear fence had been installed in the wrong place by the previous owners. The fence should bee where the trees stand. My only solution is to cut all the trees down and move the fence to the correct position.
