Roadside Litter

Reported via mobile in the Street Cleansing category anonymously at 09:40, Tue 16 November 2021

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later

The entire length of Chelsfield Lane from Lilly's Wood to Chelsfield Village is in need of a litter pick.

This is mainly car thrown litter but also larger items from flytipping over the years.

As the hedgerows have recently been cut back and the road is currently closed for maintenance might this not be a good opportunity for a thorough clean up?

  • I have walked the length of Chelsfield Lane this morning.

This issue has most certainly not been fixed. Attached are a selection of photos (I could have included others).

I saw lots of litter on the roadside and in the hedgerows.

The whole Lane from Chelsfield Village to the Lilly's Wood entrance requires a thorough litter pick.

As mentioned before, I would have thought that whilst the Lane is closed to traffic, now would be an ideal time to carry out this work.
