Leaf collection

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3137034.
St Leonards Rise residence would really appreciate help with the huge amount of leaves on the green and grass verges in the Rise. We do our best in collecting them ourselves, but now that the leaves are all off the trees on the green, it would be really helpful if you could clear them from the green and grass verges. They become really dangerous in the wet weather on the pavements etc, and are never ending if not all collected. Thank you

Thank your workers for clearing the verges and gutters. BUT its the green that causes the problems, and that was not cleared, which means the verges and gutters will be heavy with leaves once more, and the green becomes very dangerous for those people who walk across it to work and school. Thank you

Thank you for your additional comments.
Please note that we provide additional crews and equipment to clear leaves to stop pavements and roads becoming slippery and messy and to prevent road gullies being blocked.
Pavements and carriageways will be cleared first. We will then return to clear grass verges if necessary.
The Neighbourhood Officer has asked the street service providers to return and clear the leaves from the green once the resources become available.
